If you have 1,000,000 in circulation and you inject an additional 1,000,000 overnight into the system so you now have 2,000,000 without any additional GDP or productivity all you have done is devalue that existing million by 50%.
Profit margins are not creating inflation. “record profits” are due to record spending.
