Celsius Astro Vibe energy drinks recalled after cans accidentally filled with vodka.

On July 30 2025 the U.S. Food and Drug Administration issued a recall after discovering certain cans labeled as Celsius Astro Vibe energy drinks actually contained High Noon Vodka Seltzer. What was supposed to be caffeine became alcohol. Cynthia Liu at the FDA said “We take mislabeling seriously and urge consumers to check the lot codes before consuming.”

A High Noon representative said “We regret this error and are working with the FDA to ensure safety and prevent future incidents.”

Affected packs shipped to stores in states including Florida, New York, Ohio, South Carolina, Virginia and Wisconsin. No illnesses have been reported. Retailers are pulling the variety packs with silver lids. The lot codes matter. Consumers must check them before drinking.

Packaging lines for Celsius and High Noon share facilities. That setup apparently failed quality checks. A simple mix‑up cost companies millions. Label lawsuits loom. Public relations damage is mounting. Regulatory agencies gain leverage when mistakes threaten safety.
