- He’s now in a rehab center regaining strength and says the process takes time.
- He won’t return to the Senate floor to vote anytime soon on doctors’ orders.
- Claims he’s still working behind the scenes with staff on issues and constituent services.
- Plans to hold the seat and finish his term ending this January despite the health problems.
He straight up says he can’t vote on the floor but still wants to hold the seat through January which proves he’s not fit to serve anymore. Time for term limits and real accountability because this is exactly why Congress looks like a retirement home for the barely functional.
