The lower third reads, “GOP mayor refutes Trump claims of gang takeover in Aurora”, but Mayor Coffman never addressed any claims made by Trump.
What ABC is doing is building a narrative based on what Mayor Coffman has said in interviews with journalists, and then claiming that their narrative refutes what Trump has said about his understanding of the situation in Aurora.
This is the media. It’s absolutely absurd.
