LOUISVILLE, Ky. (TNND) — Police and fire crews are responding to a plane crash near Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport that sent black smoke and flames shooting into the sky.
Officials have shared that at least three people are dead, and 11 are injured. Governor Andy Beshear said he expects the number of fatalities and injuries to grow.
At the moment, officials do not have the status of the crew on the plane.
It is still a very dangerous situation with different flammables or potentially explosive materials,” Beshear said.
