Ukraine’s Birth Rate Has Fallen by 28%

Until February 24 last year, an average of 21-23 thousand children were born per month, and now only 16.1 thousand. 96,755 children were born in the country in the first six months, while for the same period in 2023 – 135,079.

In 2022, 209,393 children were born in Ukraine, while in 2013, before the Maidan, there were 503,657 births.
