Donald Trump sent a St. Patrick’s Day–themed fundraising email Monday invoking the U.S. military operation against Iran while asking supporters to join what it called a “MAGA Roster.”
The message features a photo of Trump against a green background with the subject line “I’m feeling lucky!” The message thanks supporters for standing by him through controversies and for backing his decision to authorize “Operation Epic Fury,” his unauthorized war in Iran, which, as the message claimed, was started “to keep you safe from nuclear weapons.”
The email framed support for the strike as a loyalty test, telling recipients they “could’ve sided with the radical left” but instead “stood with me to Make America Great Again.” It then tells supporters, “It is your lucky day” and asks them to join a “MAGA Roster” which is leads to a donation form to send him money.
The message continues on it’s St. Patrick’s Day theme with Trump telling supporters, “I’m lucky to have you on my side.”
