It’s never been about the talent, it’s about the price. Why pay an American software engineer $160,000 a year when you can offer a visa and $50,000 to an Indian immigrant? Companies have been given the green light to do this. I think companies should have to pay $100,000 annually per H1B employee they have. We need to disincentivize this.
