Reason: After Trump administration recent renovation (cost around $14 million), pool turn green fast from heavy algae growth.

They use peroxide because it milder than chlorine, good for killing algae in pools and spas.

Video show workers in hip waders pour it from side, some foam appear on water.

Many people on Reddit get angry at first, think it vandalism or bad for environment, but it official action to fix problem.

Pool very big (over 2,000 feet long, millions gallons water), so they need lots bottles. Experts say it maybe not enough for full fix.
