Nearly 700 frozen waffle products recalled nationwide from major retailers due to Listeria risk.

TreeHouse Foods has issued a voluntary recall for nearly 700 frozen waffle products due to potential Listeria contamination. The recall involves products sold under various brands, including Kodiak and Good & Gather, and was initiated to prevent possible infection, especially among vulnerable populations such as the elderly, pregnant women, and those with weakened immune systems.

The affected waffles were distributed nationwide at major retailers like Walmart, Target, Kroger, Publix, Aldi, and Food Lion. Despite the recall, no illnesses have been reported so far. The recall covers toaster waffles, Belgian waffles, and pancakes.

While there are no confirmed cases of illness, the risk remains, and consumers are advised to check their freezers and avoid consuming the potentially contaminated products.
