NORTHEAST Pa. (WOLF) — Multiple schools and a hospital in our area are receiving bomb threats and schools are closing out of an abundance of caution.
Hazlton Police received a threat at 10:48am that a bomb was sent to Lackawanna College on East Broad Street and another at Lehigh Valley Hospital.
With the assistance of Scranton Police and The Pennsylvania State Police, both the school and the hospital were search utilizing bomb sniffing dogs.
Police also searched Harman-Geist Memorial Football stadium since a football game is to be played tonight. Dogs showed no alerts and nothing was found.
