A Raleigh man was sentenced to prison for a little longer than two years after he threatened to kill former President Joe Biden.
Michael James Ferr, 31, was arrested in January after making threats to kill then-President Joe Biden and the U.S. Secret Service agent who came to investigate the original threat.
According to court documents, Ferr posted several comments on X, formerly Twitter, on Friday, Jan. 10, including death threats to the president. Officers said U.S. Secret Service agents interviewed Ferr just four days later, when he then threatened to kill the agent.
