Hurricane Lee – Massive Flooding Event Forecast for New England

We are now less than five days from a potential hurricane event and can start discussing possible details/outcomes.
While Hurricane Lee, which is expected to slow down as it approaches the coast, may be seen as good news because the center will be over much cooler water & weakening, a slower moving hurricane/tropical storm can be worse in many ways.
A slow moving tropical system is a prolific rain producer. Water is the number one killer, either storm surge and/or rainfall flooding.

For many this might be a power outage/falling tree wind event, but for many more it could be a widespread flood event.
Based on these early details, by this weekend folks should be ready to be unable to travel & stay at home for days and days without power if necessary.
