France is the first country in EU to go full China and beside they keep claiming that they are using only behavior detection algorithms they have been cought to use illegally face recognition. They say that their software (israeli software) do not use race recognition but the french manual of the software says otherwise.
The project started ahead of the Olympics Games and will end way later the end…but as the video conclude, UK implemented temporary use during the 2012 Olympic and never withdrawed aftermath.
