Wait, so Biden’s “Infrastructure bill” allocated $5 billion towards building charging stations, and only 8 have been built?! Not 8,000, Not 800, *8*, For $5 billion

The thing about electric vehicles is the batteries are not recyclable.  The batteries create huge waste in creating them and do tons of damage to the system.  A lot of the materials for the batteries are via almost slave like horrible condition work in Africa run by China.  I’ve seen that there are charging stations in remote places that are run by diesel generators.  The trucks used for the mining create more emissions than the car will ever make up for.
