In 2021 Canadian writer, podcaster and journalist Meghan Murphty left her hometown of Vancouver and moved to Mexico. She retained her Canadian residency, however, and now she’s running for office as a candidate for the People’s Party of Canada. In this conversation with Jimmy Murphy describes her concerns about the increasingly repressive Canadian government, her decision to run for office and her experience being “de-banked” over her anti-government positions.
