Award-winning ramen shop to close after nearly a decade, mandated tip credit on top of a high minimum wage

Osaka Ramen serves both traditional and non-traditional ramen, with a variety of broth and protein options. The menu also includes bento boxes, sides and desserts.

The restaurant announced on Wednesday that it will close its doors for good in less than two weeks.

“The decision to close comes amid significant challenges facing Denver’s restaurant industry, including rising ingredient costs, an evolving economic landscape, and the mandated tip credit on top of a high minimum wage,” the restaurant said in a statement provided to FOX31.
