A 40-year-old woman walking her dog in Atlanta was shot six times and killed. A suspect linked to other random attacks is being investigated. She is the auditor at the US Department of Homeland Security.

40-year-old woman walking her dog in Atlanta was shot six times and killed. A suspect linked to other random attacks is being investigated.

She has since been identified as Lauren Bullis, an auditor at the US Department of Homeland Security.

Whether her government role played any part in her targeting has not been confirmed.

But it’s no longer a clean “random attack” story.
