19-YEAR-OLD DIES AFTER CLIMBING INTO LIONESS HABITAT AT BRAZILIAN ZOO

A 19-year-old man died after invading a lioness enclosure at the Arruda Câmara Zoo in João Pessoa yesterday morning.

Zoo officials said the man’s invasion was “sudden,” leaving no time to stop him.

Despite reinforced walls over 6 meters high and security fencing, he managed to enter the habitat.

The attack left him with fatal injuries.

The zoo is now closed while authorities investigate how it happened and why.
