The White House has revealed that Virginia Giuffre is the Jeffrey Epstein victim who allegedly ‘spent hours’ with Donald Trump, according to a newly released email.
The emails, released by Democrats on the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday, show that Epstein referred to Trump in correspondence with Ghislaine Maxwell and the author Michael Wolff over a period of at least eight years.
The Democrats redacted the victim’s name, including in a 2011 email Epstein sent Maxwell which claimed ‘Virginia spent hours at my house with’ Trump.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt called the email dump a politically-motivated ‘smear’ campaign and repeated Giuffre’s former statements about Trump in which she absolved him of any wrongdoing.
‘The Democrats selectively leaked emails to the liberal media to create a fake narrative to smear President Trump,’ Leavitt said in a statement.
‘The “unnamed victim” referenced in these emails is the late Virginia Giuffre, who repeatedly said President Trump was not involved in any wrongdoing whatsoever and ‘couldn’t have been friendlier’ to her in their limited interactions.’
Giuffre, who committed suicide earlier this year, was recruited by Maxwell while employed as a spa attendant at Mar-a-Lago Club in 2000. She was 16 years old.
Trump expelled Epstein from his club around October 2007 ‘for being a creep to his female employees, including Giuffre,’ Leavitt said.
House Democrats release new Epstein emails referencing Trump
Sex offender Jeffrey Epstein referred to Donald Trump as the “dog that hasn’t barked” and told his former companion Ghislaine Maxwell that an alleged victim had “spent hours at my house” with Trump, according to email correspondence released Wednesday by Democrats on the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.
“I want you to realize that that dog that hasn’t barked is trump,” Epstein wrote in a typo-riddled message to Maxwell in April 2011. “[Victim] spent hours at my house with him ,, he has never once been mentioned.”
