Ukraine’s elite Alpha unit cripples Russian shadow fleet tanker in Mediterranean

The SBU (security service of Ukraine) has for the first time struck a tanker from Russia’s shadow fleet in the neutral waters of the Mediterranean Sea.

As a result of multi-stage operations in the neutral waters of the Mediterranean Sea, the “Alpha” unit of the SBU struck the tanker QENDIL using aerial drones.

At the time of the special operation, the Russian vessel was not carrying any cargo and was empty. Accordingly, this attack posed no threat to the environmental situation in the region.

The tanker QENDIL sustained critical damage and cannot be used for its intended purpose.
