UK Government considering ‘retaliatory action’ against Trump’s tariffs

Business Secretary Jonathan Reynolds has told the Commons that the government is considering retaliating to Donald Trump’s tariffs.

He said: “I am today launching a request for input on the implications for British businesses of possible retaliatory action.”

Reynolds did say the government’s belief is the best course of action is a “negotiated deal with the US”.
