Massachusetts mandates Uber and Lyft pay drivers at least $32.50/hour

As of June 27, 2024, Uber and Lyft are required to pay their drivers in Massachusetts a minimum of $32.50 per hour. This change is part of a settlement announced by Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea Campbell. The settlement also includes additional benefits and protections for drivers, such as paid sick leave, occupational accident insurance, and health care stipends.
