Turkey, a member of NATO, has expressed a desire to join the BRICS group. “Certainly, we would like to become a member of BRICS,” stated Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on June 4 during his visit to Beijing.
Russia has welcomed Ankara’s wish to join BRICS.
There is a growing list of NATO countries unhappy with the current affairs in NATO and the EU.
Hungary is the most outspoken.
