During a speech at the International Asia Political Parties Conference in Istanbul, Erdoğan accused Israel of atrocities in Palestine and Lebanon. He stated (in reference to past Turkish military interventions):”Just as we entered Libya and Karabakh, we can enter Israel. There is no reason not to do it. It will require strength and unity.”He added that Turkey must be strong enough to prevent Israel from continuing what he called barbaric actions, and described Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in harsh terms (e.g., “blinded by blood and hatred”).
