Facebook, Instagram to BLOCK Canadian News after Bill C-18 Became Law – Meta Calls Bill “Unworkable”
Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram is blocking Canadian news outlets’ links from their websites after the Liberal proposed Bill C-18 passed and became law. Google had previously ran such experiments and will presumably roll out similar changes across their platforms.
