FYI, Installing Linux is easier than installing Windows.
The problem is that Windows works perfectly out of the box (you just need to install programs you like), but in Linux you have to invest a lot of effort in setting up the system, which requires a good amount of time.
Learning new things and getting out of your comfort zone is a bonus.
