China isn’t in any active armed conflict. It supplies Russia with components/drones for its war in Ukraine and arms Iran (plus proxies like Houthis/Hezbollah) in Middle East fights involving Israel. The US counters by aiding Ukraine and Israel. Trump’s point was that great powers arm their partners—it’s not unique to China.
