Teacher sobs after judge hands jail time in obsessive stalking case

Ohio teacher starts panicking and crying in court after being sentenced to a week in jail for stalking her ex-boyfriend.

27-year-old Hannah Freeman was accused of following her ex-boyfriend to work at least 33 times in a single month.

She was also accused of breaking into his car and stealing over $1000 worth of items.

During the sentencing, Freeman’s lawyer addressed the judge, claiming the sentencing was not what they had agreed to.

“You didn’t agree with me, Mr. Kinlin, and I am charged with sentencing,” Judge David Matia shot back.

The moment caused Freeman to panic.

She was sentenced to one week in jail, 18 months of probation, must wear a GPS device for 90 days, must get mental health counseling, and is not allowed to contact her ex-boyfriend.
