Kimchi-derived probiotic shows promise for binding and removing nanoplastics
A research team at The World Institute of Kimchi investigated the adsorption capacity of a kimchi-derived lactic acid bacterium, Leuconostoc mesenteroides CBA3656, against polystyrene nanoplastics (PS-NPs).
