Federal workers are becoming the front line of America’s political wars
Moment of Explosion + Shooting Outside NYC Federal Building 26 Federal Plaza
FBI said an individual had deployed an “incendiary device” outside a federal building at 26 Federal Plaza in Manhattan, which houses ICE, immigration courts, the FBI’s New York field office and other federal agencies.
The suspect was taken into custody and the FBI said its FBI New York Joint Terrorism Task Force was investigating the incident.
Authorities cited by ABC7 report the device consisted of fireworks and a “flammable liquid,” and PIX 11 and CBS News report fireworks in a garbage can were set off and sparked a fire, while NBC New York reports the suspect “wheeled a cart” and “ignited a fire.”
Injuries resulting from the incident are still unclear: PIX 11 reports three people were injured in the explosion, citing unnamed officials, while NBC New York reports one person was sent to the hospital with minor injuries.
Details about the suspect are still unknown, though NBC New York and ABC 7 describe the person as a potential anti-ICE protester, and NBC reports the suspect possessed multiple BB-style “airsoft” rifles that fire pellets.
The FBI and New York City Fire Department have not yet responded to requests for comment, and the New York Police Department referred Forbes to the FBI for comment on the incident.

An incendiary device went off outside a federal building in Lower Manhattan Monday morning, and a suspect has been taken into custody, the FBI said.
The incident happened outside 26 Federal Plaza, a building that houses dozens of agencies including the FBI, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
The sound of an explosion had authorities running to the steps leading into the building. They found a man with an airsoft rifle, carbon dioxide cartridges, halogen lighting and a helmet, multiple law enforcement sources said.
Preliminary information indicates fireworks in a garbage can exploded, senior security sources told CBS News. The fire department responded to put out flames, and a man was taken into custody.
According to authorities, the assault was an anti-ICE attack.

This is an armed revolution against lawful authority, openly led and encouraged by Democrats.
At what point will our nation figure out that we are in the midst of a violent insurrection that threatens our national existence, and treat it as such? https://t.co/zo87YA5p8b

43-year-old Army veteran Andrew Arrabaca, an anti-American, anti-ICE, anti-government radical who was arrested today after detonating an incendiary device outside ICE offices in New York City, told agents he didn’t care how many federal workers or civilians he killed.

OK, they've advanced to the incendiary device and gun phase. Largely ineffective, some flammable liquid, fireworks and a pellet gun, as the guy espousing an idiotic cause appears to be an idiot.
It won't always be that way. https://t.co/UAfyGJlUdu
