SPY IV seems really low

Was looking at some ~$490 august puts and noticed the IV was around 12%.

See also  Brave of him to acknowledge what seems obvious.

Honestly it is very spooky the way SPY is essentially not moving at all. Nobody is buying, everyone is nervous. Volume was like 50% of normal today.
