Presidential jet tracked to border with Brazil. Sources indicate Maduro may have escaped to Brazil.

The Airbus A319 that always flies Maduro touched down in Santa Elena de Uairén, right on the Venezuela-Brazil frontier.

No official confirmation he’s on board or that he’s requested asylum in Brazil, but the timing is screaming “I’m out.”

Brazilian authorities say they haven’t been contacted yet.

If Maduro actually bolts, 26 years of Chavismo might die overnight

The military splits: some will celebrate, some will try a last stand

The opposition (Edmundo González, María Corina) instantly becomes the legitimate government in the eyes of the world

Cuba loses its oil lifeline and implodes within months, while the U.S. bombing option gets shelved, no need to hit a collapsing regime

This is the moment millions of Venezuelans have prayed for while starving under his boot.

If the rat is running, the ship is sinking fast.

Hold the line, Venezuela.

The nightmare might finally be ending.

‘Stay away from Venezuela’, Trump warns airlines
US president’s declaration that airspace is closed may signal strikes on land

Donald Trump has told all airlines to consider the skies above and surrounding Venezuela closed, as the threat of US air strikes intensifies.

The US president declared Venezuelan airspace “closed in its entirety” in an early-morning post on social media, two days after suggesting he would launch military strikes on the country to stop drug traffickers.

The US does not have the authority to close another country’s airspace, but the threat is likely to panic airlines, cause travel uncertainty in Venezuela, and worry Nicolas Maduro, its leader, whom the Trump administration has labelled a “narco-terrorist”.

“To all Airlines, Pilots, Drug Dealers, and Human Traffickers, please consider THE AIRSPACE ABOVE AND SURROUNDING VENEZUELA TO BE CLOSED IN ITS ENTIRETY,” Mr Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform on Saturday morning from Palm Beach, Florida.
