BOSS GREAT WALL: THE GALAXY CLUSTER THAT DWARFS THE UNIVERSE
Astronomers have unveiled the BOSS Great Wall, a colossal galaxy supercluster spanning 1 billion light-years, crowned as the largest structure in the known universe.
Composed of 830 galaxies linked by fiery filaments of hot gas, this cosmic titan is 10,000 times the mass of the Milky Way and outshines the Sloan Great Wall by two-thirds.
Nicknamed a “cosmic honeycomb,” the BOSS Great Wall is redefining our understanding of galactic architecture and the Big Bang’s chaotic aftermath.
Though some debate its classification, there’s no doubt: the BOSS Great Wall dominates the universe like no other.
