Snowstorm threat forces California officials to conduct snow survey early

Thursday morning is a fairly quiet morning, with cloudy skies and cool temperatures in Northern California. What comes next will be on-and-of Valley showers, gusty winds and the beginning of a lot of snow for the Sierra.
