Still burning strong. Strong smells reported 50 miles away. Winds now turning more from the south. No word from the government or the “foreign state”. Imagine, if instead it had been caused by an idiot with a BBQ !
The fire is still going. According to people nearby, there was a loud bang at about 2pm yesterday and then there was a lot of smoke. The bits I saw burning by the A3 yesterday are out with charred trees. The direction where the wind is blowing in, there is a strong smell of smoke
