San Diego now has government workers lifting your trash can lids for compliance

California Democrats are hiring new San Diego Enforcement Officers to visit every home in San Diego every year

These new enforcement officers called “Lid lifters” come to your home and will lift your trash cans lids to ensure you are recycling properly

They are paid $70k per year plus benefits. This is real and they’re already on camera lifting San Diego residents trash can lids

“Have you seen the lid lifters in San Diego? They are city employees that are literally lifting the lids onto your trash cans to make sure you are placing your waste in the correct bins. Every house in San Diego will be visited once a year by a team of city compliance officers that walks the streets and inspects each trash can. The effort is part of a state bill, 1383, that requires cities to implement a compliance program and divert organic waste from trash and recycling bins into the organic waste bin.”

“Your new trash fees are paying for these lid lifters at $70,000 per year plus benefits”
