Economy is in the shitter and FUBAR. Been working since 8 years old (paper route, mowing lawns), had a job in HS. Worked to put myself through college. Aside from layoffs, I’ve always worked, saved money, 401k, etc., etc. Retired last Dec thinking I’ll make it 1.5 more years to 62, then draw SS. Because of the economy, this $$ emergency, that $$ emergency, got down too low on our savings account. Wife is a public servant and doesn’t make enough to cover us each month. So I had to go get a damn job again.
I’m just pissed. But have to do right by my family.
How is everyone else faring during this shit show?
