Barcelona/Spain: Moroccan robs an elderly woman and assaults her with a strong punch to the face. The woman is in critical condition and is fighting for her life.

Wilmington, Del.: A 68-year old Korean-American jewelry shop owner was pistol-whipped & assaulted with a hammer on Sept. 15 by a black male suspect during a robbery. Calvin Ushery, 39, was arrested. The victim is unable to walk now due to the head injury.

A mistrial has been declared in the trial of Calvin Ushery because jurors could not reach a verdict. The suspect’s attorney told the jury the September 2022 video of the brutal beating of the elderly Asian man “provokes a lot of emotion” but told them not to direct that against his client.
