President Donald Trump is expected to begin his public schedule this week with a meeting Monday afternoon with the White House Task Force on the FIFA World Cup 2026. Later on Monday, he’s expected to offer remarks at a summit in Washington.
Trump last week had a high-profile falling out with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who criticized the president and his administration over a number of topics, including the handling of the Jeffrey Epstein investigation.
As the federal government’s reopening continued after a record shutdown, the Federal Aviation Administration said it expected flight reductions to end at 6 a.m. ET on Monday at 40 major airports across the country, meaning airlines could resume normal operations.
