NJ MAN CONVICTED IN CRYPTO-FUELED FENTANYL RING—FACES LIFE IN PRISON

Sharing is Caring!

For six years, William Panzera ran a fentanyl operation, importing synthetic opioids from China and moving drug money through wire transfers and crypto.

Now, a federal jury has found him guilty.

Prosecutors say his crew sold fake pills laced with deadly fentanyl while laundering hundreds of thousands to overseas suppliers.

Homeland Security, the FBI, and IRS spent years tracking him down.

Sentencing is set for June.

He’s looking at a minimum of 10 years—but with drug trafficking and money laundering charges stacked against him, he may never walk free again.
