Ahigh-intensity explosion occurred in a slow-moving car outside the Red Fort in central Delhi on Monday evening (November 10, 2025), killing at least 10 people and injuring several others in front of the Red Fort.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that “all possibilities are being explored and a thorough investigation will be conducted, taking all options into account.”

More than 2,900 kg of bomb-making material and ammonium nitrate were seized from doctors linked to a medical college in Haryana’s Faridabad. Officials said there was a conspiracy to terrorise Delhi using hundreds of powerful IEDs made from the recovered explosive-making chemicals.
The seized items include one assault rifle with three magazines and 83 live rounds, one pistol with eight live rounds, two empty cartridges, two additional magazines, eight large suitcases, four small suitcases, and the suspected explosive chemical. Police also recovered 20 timers with batteries, 24 remote controls, five kilograms of heavy metal, walkie-talkie sets, electric wiring, batteries, and other contraband materials.
