Two people are dead after being shot by a Miami-Dade Transit bus driver overnight Sunday, Miami Gardens police said.
A Miami Gardens update sent to council members said the shooting at Northwest 183rd Street and Seventh Avenue happened at 2:50 a.m. The update stated the bus operator fired several times in the bus and killed two passengers.
Speaking to media at the scene, Miami Gardens police said an argument between the driver and passengers escalated. They were taken to Aventura Hospital, where both died.
