Mayorkas excuses Biden’s unilateral mass amnesty for illegal aliens because “we need people who are willing to work”

People aren’t willing to work because the left has spent the last 15 years telling everyone that you shouldn’t work in entry level jobs for less than $15 per hour. Once companies moved towards that figure as the market forced it, people were then told that it’s not a “living wage”.
You can’t have a populace of uneducated and/or inexperienced workers that is completely unwilling to get out of bed for less than $50,000 per year, while also importing millions people who are willing to work those entry level jobs for half that amount.
They seem to be pushing two separate policies that are in direct conflict with one another.
