Google trends logged over 10,000 searches for the keywords ‘lockdown in India’ on Tuesday, with the phrase currently trending on the search engine.

This may have been spurred by India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech to the Parliament on Monday, where he spoke about the current global energy crisis which has led to an LPG (liquified petroleum gas) supply crunch in India and stressed the need for unity. He spoke about how India had faced similar challenges during the Covid-19 lockdown.
