How on earth did the SBA end up doling out $330 million in loans to children under 11? It’s hard to believe, but that’s exactly what happened. This isn’t just some game of Monopoly—real money was handed out like candy. The question we all should be asking is: How did this slip through the cracks? Why is it that people who are supposed to be overseeing these programs are turning a blind eye to outright fraud?
This scandal doesn’t stop there. Former Senator Kelly Loeffler revealed that an astonishing 3,500 loans were made to people over 114 years old, adding another $300 million to the already staggering figure. In total, we’re talking about $650 million in fraudulent loans handed out like it was Monopoly money.
The implications of this mess are huge. Under the Biden administration, these loans were either forgiven or pushed down the road for someone else to deal with. This was the very definition of kicking the can down the road. It’s time to deal with the fraud head-on. The criminals behind these scams need to face the music and be held accountable. The waste, fraud, and abuse that’s been allowed to fester has gone on long enough. It’s time for action.
