It isn’t about stopping Iran from having a nuke. It isn’t about spreading “freedom”, it isn’t about the Strait of Hormuz, etc. It’s about US politicians lining their own pockets, as well as their buddies in the MIC pockets. When this started, all they talked about was how US/Israeli weapon inventories were low, and what has happened since then? The US has been carpet bombing non-strategic targets in Iran, letting 1 billion dollar radar systems be destroyed, leaving multi-billion dollar AWACs out on tarmac to be destroyed, etc. All they are doing is using Iran as a trashcan to dump all their old ordinance on so they can claim the need to rebuild inventories, in essence robbing American taxpayers of money and/or firing up that printing press to drive inflation ever higher.
