The data leaking out of the Pentagon right now is nothing short of a strategic catastrophe. A fresh CNN investigation from today confirms it: the “impregnable” U.S. presence in the Middle East has been decimated by a “depleted” Iran.
Tehran didn’t just rattle the cage; they dismantled it. By hitting 16 bases across 8 countries, they’ve effectively targeted the majority of our regional footprint.
Iran successfully targeted and destroyed multiple Boeing E-3 Sentry (AWACS) aircraft. These are the “eyes in the sky” for the U.S. fleet; they are out of production and nearly impossible to replace in this climate.
