I am fed up with the narrative that we need to squeeze the taxpayer to save the schools. We have been dumping money into a broken system for decades, and the results are pathetic. It is not a funding problem, it is a management and corruption problem. When they tell you that a new tax levy will fix education, they are lying to your face. They are taking your hard-earned money and throwing it into a bottomless pit of administrative waste and political patronage.
"This is bullshit. I promise you"
is a terrible way to explain why increasing taxes has literally never had a positive influence on education pic.twitter.com/z9TFzMzB86

Why is it never "stop wasting our tax payer money" first. Taxing the rich doesn't fix the system, it keeps it going. It's like giving a drug addict more money instead of getting them help.

Fran Lebowitz on the billionaires: “Every time someone suggests [a wealth tax] they say I’m moving. Go! They add nothing to New York. In the 19th century, those robber barons, they employed people. All this money magic employs no one. Goodbye, go. We don’t need you” pic.twitter.com/QDs6EcT8ib

How about you rat 🐀 bastards stop enriching yourselves first with all the corruption and waste of tax payer dollars first?? You’re all no different from Trump and the billionaires. Just more virtue signaling. pic.twitter.com/V8MTSFStJ1

Jeff Bezos on NYC spending:
"If we ran Amazon the way New York City runs their school system, packages would take 6 weeks to arrive, we would charge you a $100 delivery fee and when the package did finally arrive, it would have the wrong item in it." pic.twitter.com/KzWrUBTcd5

We need to stop acting like this is about the children. It is about the power structures that thrive on the status quo. If you look at the track record, more money just means more bloat.
