$18,000,000 a month to “be ready” to house up to 3,000 people. That’s $6000 a month or $200 a day for empty beds. So did they have full staff showing up every day?
Were they supposed to provide meals? Did they maintain a fully stocked kitchen ready to feed 3000 people showing up all at once?
Where did all that money go? What exactly did they spend it on? Who negotiated this contract? Was anyone else allowed to bid on it? This seems to be massive fraud to funnel money somewhere.
